This is a superb role, joining a major sports governing body to take ownership
of the Data Strategy as the organisation embraces and drives forward their
customer engagement strategy.
A new position within the business, the successful applicant will work with
internal resources, stakeholders and external agencies. They will be part of
the team overseeing the delivery of a Single Customer View, whilst designing
and delivering an overarching data driven marketing strategy to help enable the
business to better comprehend the requirements of their audience and ultimately
lead to greater engagement with the sport - from participation at grass roots
up to competition level, through to increasing audience share and creating fans
of the game.
Your background will be within Data Strategy within a Customer Engagement
agency (or an equivalent within a data consultancy or client side) and you will
have exceptional data planning skills - with a strong track record in
developing consumer focused contact strategies for major CRM programmes.
A true self-starter, you will be able to work with other disciplines to engage
them with the value of a data-driven marketing strategy and be able to champion
the value of customer engagement across the business. You will be able to work
closely with customer analytics resources (and are able to write cogent and
concise analytics briefs), implement Test & Learn strategies and must have
experience leading on customer segmentation and profiling exercises. A passion
for all things data is of course an essential!
